New Orleans is known for its stunning architecture and historic preservation, and people come from around the world to see it all in person, and, of course, take photographs. There are countless photos taken of our most famous landmarks, and one would think that once you’ve seen one photo of popular New Orleans site, you’ve seen them all, but that’s just not the case. Our city is filled with beauty that continues to amaze me. Every time I walk through my neighborhood, I look around and think to myself how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place that has such history and unique charm.
In our historic French Quarter, people love to photograph Jackson Square with the beautiful backdrop of St. Louis Cathedral. It makes for naturally epic composure for almost any photo, but sometimes a photograph comes along that stops you dead in your tracks and captures the beauty of this French Quarter sight in a new and refreshing way. We have to give big props to @tableau_nola on Instagram for this stunning photograph of Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral all dressed up for the holidays. They really caught the square in a beautiful light and frame, sun shining and all.
Happy holidays, New Orleans; you’re looking mighty fine.
