Whether you’re in the mood to sit back and see a show, or enjoy live entertainment at some of New Orleans’ best music venues, we’ve got you covered. This weekend you can catch “Shut Up, Sweet Charlotte” at the Mid-City Theatre, celebrate the Krewe of the Rolling Elvi’s 10th Anniversary with tributes to Elvis at Howlin’ Wolf,  see an authentic 1950s-style burlesque show at House of Blues, listen to a star-studded lineup of performers from HBO’s “Treme” live at Tipitina’s and watch an all-star cast of improvisers tackle Shakespeare at the New Movement Theater! Happy weekend, NOLA!

The partying will begin at 9 p.m. and doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available online.

Exuent! Improvised Sheakespeare – The New Movement comedy theater will be showing an all-star cast of improvisers tackling Shakespeare in an entirely improvised show at 7:30pm on Sunday.
