Many people said the one dish they'd eat for the rest of their lives were grilled oysters like these from Drago's
When you tell someone you’ve been to New Orleans, chances are they ask you about what you ate. In New Orleans, food is taken very seriously. We discuss what we’re doing for lunch while we’re eating breakfast, and what we’re doing for dinner while we’re eating lunch. Food is just a way of life here. A week ago we asked out Facebook fans and Twitter followers if they could eat one New Orleans dish for the rest of their life, what would it be? We received plenty of answers and a few “that’s impossible” responses – which of course we agree with! However, there were a few that we really liked and want to share. So next time you’re in New Orleans, be sure to scope out these specific places and taste the food some people would eat for the rest of their lives!
