New Orleans is in the midst of 24/7 celebration – well, more than usual – starting in December through Mardi Gras Day. And the articles written, photos taken and tweets composed all reflect the escapades of this holiday season. This week’s New Orleans Around the Web found that New Orleans is the strangest city in America, visitors are enjoying Christmas cruises and a previously skeptical west coaster is now a New Orleans convert.

New Orleans folks are strange? Yep, we sure are and proud of it! New Orleans is once again on the top of a Travel + Leisure list for America’s Strangest People.
