The results are in! With many travel resources revealing reader polls and annual U.S. city superlatives, New Orleans is topping many lists. We already announced that New Orleans is Trip Advisor’s #1 Food and Wine Destination (duh) and now the Crescent City is voted the best in several categories for Travel + Leisure’s America’s Favorite Cities 2011 survey.

Sean Payton is itching to come back down to the sidelines, planning to get back on his feet two weeks earlier than he was advised after being injured in a collision during the Tampa Bay game three weeks ago. He’ll be back to ground level in time for the game against the New York Giants.
