If you haven’t been to Frenchmen Street during your New Orleans Halloween experience, you haven’t experienced Halloween in New Orleans. Frenchmen Street, which I liken to the locals’ Bourbon Street, is the heart of the NOLA Halloween scene. The street gets packed with people in costumes and, as you may have noticed, we in New Orleans take our costumes very seriously. No doubt Frenchmen will be busting at the seams on Saturday October 29 and, most likely again on Monday, October 31. If you’re here, grab a costume (a good one!) and head to Frenchmen!
