Delta bluesman Luke Winslow-King is a regular Frenchmen Street fixture and cornerstone of classic American genres in New Orleans. Winslow-King’s voice drifts through a vintage microphone, filling the room with sunny Mississippi River daydreams. He’s a handyman on the guitar, producing a country twang that compliments the vocals beautifully. Though his style stems from a 30s and 40s era influence, its presence in New Orleans is trending currently with younger musicians like himself. Catch the busy man playing at one of his three regular weekly gigs with sidekick Esther Rose at Yuki, Spotted Cat or Three Muses, all on Frenchmen Street.
