We recommend staying close to or not even leaving Oak St. in Uptown this weekend. Why would you when the Krewe of O.A.K. storms the streets with their Midsummer Mardi Gras or the amazing restaurants and bars are beckoning you inside their doors, including Cowbell, a comfortable, down-home burger restaurant that uses house-ground, grass-fed beef. Burgers aren’t the only thing on the menu; Cowbell also has southwestern inspired fish tacos and a “Chocolate City” cake. It seems Oak St. is developing more and more every time we bat an eye!
