Coming to New Orleans in August? Mark your calendars for White Linen Night. White Linen Night is an annual one-night arts festival in August during which art galleries, stores and restaurants in the Arts District open their doors to thousands of people clad in white linen (side: you don’t have to wear white linen, but you should because everyone else is doing it). Of course, this is New Orleans, and nothing is ever normal — like this flash-mob pillow fight that took place during White Linen Night in 2009. The 2011 White Linen Night will be held on August 6th — we’ll see you there!
