Booty Trove is an up-and-coming brass band from New Orleans known for their energetic live shows where keeping the crowd entertained and making them feel they are a part of the show is a priority. They like to break the mold of New Orleans brass bands and “funkify” the audience as they mix it up with covers such as Led Zeppelin’s “The Crunge.”

New Orleans Brass Band Booty Trove

An incredible New Orleans brass band

Here’s a sneak peek of the interview:

What are some of y’all’s favorite brass bands?
The classics like Rebirth, Soul Rebels, but I really like Youngblood Brass Band. They have a lot more complex arangements. Jimmy definitely got me into Youngblood. You know, when you have so many voices you can do a lot of really cool stuff, and Brass already has its own really interesting tambors. It’s fun, it’s funky, but it’s acoustic and powerful and yet it can be really delicate. I don’t know, its just got a lot of different shades to it.
