Tulane University graduate Rick Farman was bartending at local New Orleans dive bar Snake and Jakes when he decided it was time to combine his love for music with his entrepreneurial drive and co-found Superfly Presents Productions. Starting out promoting music shows during Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest in 1997, Superfly Presents has since expanded their production empire with the creation of national music festivals Bonnaroo and Outside Lands.
