in Arts & Culture, Things To Do

In New Orleans, a city built around art, music and culture, it’s no wonder that the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) is one of our greatest treasures. World renowned for its extensive collections, it houses over 40,000 works of art that span over 4,000 years in time. They have a wide variety of artistic style and medium — African, Asian and Decorative Arts Collections are complimented by their incredible Photography Collection and Sculpture Garden — offering something for everyone.  Check out their Where Y’Art Events every Friday night where they feature live music, performances, children’s events, exhibition walk-throughs, and of course, ART.  Admission is only $10 for adults, $6 for kids (ages 7-17) and free for children under age 6.
