in Shopping, Things To Do

Earth Day isn’t officially until April 22nd but you can get a jump start on the festivities by getting some serious deals at Buffalo Exchange’s annual dollar day sale this Saturday, April 16th. Not only can you get clothes for a buck a piece but you’ll also be donating your money to the Humane Society of the United States. Since 1997, Buffalo Exchange has raised more than $310,000 company-wide for charity through the Earth Day sales.

The sale starts at 11:00am and is cash only so get there early! All proceeds go to the HSUS’ ‘Saving Animals by Saving Land’ program which provides safe places for wildlife to live. These programs are a part of the Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust, which permanently protects land for wildlife, and can assist you in turning even the smallest yard or apartment balcony into an actual sanctuary for birds, butterflies or other wild neighbors.
