If you can’t have a good time in New Orleans, you probably can’t have a good time anywhere. New Orleans is known for live music, great food and one continuous party. Every Spring marks the kick off of what New Orleanians call “Festival Season.” You’ll be hard pressed to spend a weekend in New Orleans between March and October and not have some kind of festival taking place. French Quarter Festival, the largest free music festival in the south, often marks the start of Festival Season in NOLA.

This year, French Quarter Festival will take place April 7-10 and feature local and nationally recognized artists like Amanda Shaw and The Cute Guys, MyNameIsJohnMichael, Charmaine Neville, The Bucktown All-Stars and Trombone Shorty. You don’t need tickets, just some sun-block and a good attitude. Happy festin’, dahlin!
