Leo Nocentelli is a funk legend. The master guitarist is the co-founder of seminal New Orleans group, The Meters. He leads his own group, Leo Nocentelli and the Meters Experience. The Meters are reuniting at this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. They are playing with Dr. John, recreating his 1974 album (for which the festival is named), “Desitively Bonnaroo.” Leo is playing a show February 25th at Tipitina’s with special guest, Meters keyboardist Art Neville.
