Better Than Ezra at House of Blues: Every year, New Orleans’ own Better Than Ezra rock the house on New Year’s Eve at the House of Blues. This year, the local band brings The Stooges Brass Band to help get the party started. Tickets are $90.00, show starts at 8:30. (if you can’t make the NYE show, they’ll also be performing on December 30 for $35.00).
Galactic plus Tea Leaf Green at Tipitina’s: Galactic, a well known New Orleans funk band with a national following, will be bringing the house down with Tea Leaf Green at New Orleans’ famed music hall Tipitinas. Tickets are $60. VIP Tickets, which include dinner, open bar, meet and greet and more, are $150. Show starts at 10:00.
Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk with Papa Grows Funk at Howlin’ Wolf. Get funked up this New Year’s Eve with two of the funkiest funk bands in NOLA! Admission is $70 and includes open bar, 21+. Show starts at 10:00.

New Year’s Eve on the Steamboat Natchez. Grab your sweetie and get ready for a ride! Hop on board the Steamboat Natchez for New Year’s Eve, the New Orleans way! Get ready for a night of dancing on the river until the Crescent City Countdown Club’s Fireworks Show lights up the sky directly overhead! Reservations are required.
Get Fun Flirty and Fabulous for New Year’s. The Bourbon Pub has all your bases covered with a huge New Year’s Eve party followed by the First Dance of 2011, with the Hung Over and Broke Tea rounding out the festivities on Sunday afternoon.
