If nothing else, New Orleans (and the south) are known for food. One place that celebrates this is the Southern Food and Beverage Museum hidden away in the Riverwalk along the Mississippi River. Along with the history of cuisine in New Orleans, you can learn about the history and the culture of cocktails at the American Cocktail Museum which takes you through 200 years of American Cocktail Culture. Not to mention the classes, symposiums and events that SoFAB regularly hosts.
