Maybe you’ve heard of Fleurty Girl, the small company that took on the NFL last year. Fleurty Girl is a New Orleans-inspired collection of original shirt designs created by New Orleans native and GoNOLA video personality, Lauren Thom.

Fleurty Who Dat

During Saints fever last year she created the Who Dat T-Shirt which sparked a huge deal over who owned the native New Orleans saying.

Needless to say, Fleurty Girl prevailed and is hugely successful, to the delight of everyone in New Orleans — visitor and local alike. Part of that success is the opening of a second store on Magazine Street.

Lots of stuff to choose from

Now you can hop on the streetcar, walk through the beautiful Garden District to all the great shopping on Magazine Street and find the new Fleurty Girl store and their “Shirts With Y’atitude”.

Shirts With Y'atitude

Someone asked me why I was so excited about another T-shirt shop opening, and I had to explain that Fleurty Girl is no ordinary T-shirt shop. Fleurty Girl represents the independent spirit of New Orleans.

The shop has the best selection of shirts, stylish with a fashionable fit. They are mostly for ladies, but there is a large selection of unisex and kids sizes too. The Fleurty Girl and Who Dat shirts are must haves. There is even a shirt designed for your doggie!

You can also find cute flip-flops, jewelry, purses and original NOLA knick-knacks that you won’t find anywhere else, many designed using vintage New Orleans images. They are so easy to pack and take to folks back home.

Locals love to shop at Fleurty Girl too. The prices are very affordable, so you can get something for yourself or for a gift. I have my eye on an adorable turquoise fleur-de-lis bracelet for $10.

With Saints season getting underway, it’s time to stock up on all the Fleurty Girl accessories to wear to the games and parties!

Fleurty Girl also has a comprehensive website. Things that sell out on the website can often be found in the store, so get over there or give them a call.

Until next time I am the Visual Vamp and Magazine Street is my beat.
